Position Description
Overview:
We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer to develop and manage secure, resilient system architectures in support of national security missions. You’ll work on both new and existing systems, providing technical leadership and hands-on support throughout the full lifecycle. This role offers mid-level and senior-level opportunities based on experience and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement secure and scalable system architectures
Lead or support system integration, testing, and deployment efforts
Administer Linux systems and application infrastructure
Automate system operations and maintenance using scripting and configuration management
Apply backup, redundancy, and hardening strategies
Create technical documentation and diagrams for system operations
Contribute to engineering milestones and system improvements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph eligibility
Mid-Level: 5+ years of systems engineering experience
Senior-Level: 8+ years of experience
Proficient in Linux system administration and scripting (Python, Bash)
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Ansible
Infrastructure as Code and automation frameworks
Experience with VMware, XenServer, or virtual networking
Familiarity with Red Hat ecosystems (YUM, Satellite)
Experience supporting complex operational systems and Agile teams
